Privacy and personal data

This site shows no ads and uses no tracking cookies. You don't need an account to read the recipes.

What we keep if you sign up

Your name, your email address, an irreversible hash of your password, the recipes and photos you share, your comments, your likes and the date you gave consent. Your password itself is not stored.

Why we keep it

To open your account, keep you signed in, show your posts under your name and prevent abuse. Your email address is never shown publicly or used for marketing.

Cookies

When you sign in, we use one essential cookie to recognise your session. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out.

Preventing abuse

To limit repeated attempts, a hash of your IP address is kept for a short time. Your IP address itself is not stored for this purpose.

Hosting

The site and account data are hosted on Cloudflare. This means data may be processed on servers outside Turkey.

Your rights

On the My account page you can download your data, change your password and delete your account with all its content.

What stays on your device

Your saved recipes, shopping list, ticked ingredients and measure preference are kept in your browser's local storage and are not sent to the server. They are removed when you clear your browser data.

Offline use

The site may keep pages you visit in your browser cache so they still open when you lose your connection.
