Sucuk slices and runny-yolked eggs in a frying pan

What goes with it?

Method

  1. Fry the sucuk

Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat. Add the sucuk and turn until it releases its fat and the edges curl.

  2. Crack in the eggs

Crack the eggs in between the sucuk slices. Sprinkle a little salt on the whites, but do not salt the yolks.

  3. Put the lid on

Turn the heat down and put the lid on. Take off the heat when the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.

Tips

  • Sucuk turns bitter as it burns, so do not go above a medium heat.
  • If you cook it without a lid, the tops of the eggs stay raw.
